Shipping Via Common Carrier

In this section we will cover how to pick/stage an order that’s marked as UPS or another common carrier.

Common Carrier Order

• Pick ticket prints with items in stock to be picked as well as items on B/O

• Note Ship Via on PT indicates UPS

  

• Take PT and pick material

• Take PT to the computer and open Warehouse manager (Inventory -> Warehouse Manager-> Shipping) or Inventory -> Shipping -> Picking

  • 

• Enter Order # OR find the order in the picking queue

  

• Click the order to open the shipper

• Pick all items if you picked all items. Manually type the quantity picked per line item in the “Qty Picked” field if you didn’t pick all items.

  

• Set Staging Location to UPS/Fedex area

  

• Post to Staged

  

• A packing list will automatically print

  

• Physically package the material and place material on the “UPS Table” staging area

• This order will be added as a stop in the active, “UPS Table” manifest. To view (Shipping -> Manifests -> UPS Table)

  

• Follow manifest management process detailed below to complete delivery of this order
